Set in New Zealand, the music video for Taeyon's "I" features the evergreen mountainside blooming with dainty flowers under the endless pale blue skies.
The long relaxing shores, the abundant cattle and the cozy city life in New Zealand are also highlighted in the video.

Taeyeon looks more beautiful than ever in the video as she chases butterflies and runs along the valley. Garbed in New Zealand fashion, she looks very refreshing and inspired. Her sweet angelic voice blends perfectly with the soft, distinct and heartfelt rap of Verbal Jint in a song about women and nature.

"I" tells a story of a strong and fierce woman reunited with her carefree younger self.

The younger Taeyeon had a beautiful life in the countryside. When she grew up, she decided to spread her wing and see the other side of the world.
The older Taeyeon lives in the city, surviving the struggle of adult life. Taeyeon is a waitress at a restaurant who ends up quitting her job and roaming the beautiful New Zealand countryside to embrace her newfound freedom. Soon she is filled with the yearning to take a trip and escape her sad life.
She journeys back to the countryside where she meets her younger self.

Meanwhile, Taeyeon has an upcoming solo concert series at the end of October and Girls' Generation's other soon-to-debut solo artist, Tiffany, is also gearing up for her solo debut album in November.

Can't you feel the freedom that Taeyeon shows? I do. I feel the freshness of air and wind blows my hair. Feels like I'm in Auckland too. :)
